Red Leaf

Published in Photographers Forum - Best Of Photography 2008, hard cover book.

I notice this unusual looking plant that a neighbour had put out for garbage and was struck by the colour and uncommon spotting.  Back-lighting revealed the intricate veining and cell structure, and made the leaf glow.  One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure!
